Product Displays & Designs That Collect Interest

Paragon Events provided strategic meetings management services for the investor meeting of a global private equity firm at the Mandarin Oriental Hotel in Miami Beach, Florida.

Strolling through the Mandarin Oriental’s foyer during the 2018 Sun Capital Investor Meeting, attendees had the opportunity to view an array of unique products and informational displays from a variety of companies within Sun Capital’s prestigious portfolio. This engaging and interactive setting served as a key highlight during the program, creating an educational moment for attendees to learn more about the exhibiting companies and industries.

In order for the client to focus on content development and relationship building, Paragon Events stepped in and provided strong logistical and operational support to the program, including creating and managing the product display area. Paragon Events’ goal was to display the investors’ products in an eye-catching way that would elevate the products, as the area served as a focus for the event. As a standard, Paragon Events strongly recommends investing in research to understand the client and their objectives of the event. Knowing our client and their company background allowed us to showcase the product display in a way that would resonate well with attendees in order to reach the ultimate goals and mission of the event.

Approximately 225 attendees traveled from all over the country to Miami Beach, Florida for this annual meeting. Every aspect of the event needed to be extremely valuable and worthwhile. Following the general session, Paragon Events organized a networking reception alongside the infinity pool draping into the ocean. The floating pool candles and lantern décor created the perfect balance of exclusivity and elegance to the dinner. A guitar trio ensemble performed outside during dinner which enhanced the Miami ambiance.

To keep attendees entertained and active, Paragon Events offered the option of a yoga class on the beach or full body boot camp at the hotel for attendees to relax and workout prior to the start of the conference.  While yoga and boot camp “change” the mind and body, attendees left behind their cell phones to “recharge.” Studies show that incorporating yoga into a corporate setting reduces stress and anxiety among attendees and improves concentration and productivity. Additionally, Paragon Events designed custom branded portable chargers as giveaways for phones and tablets to remain fully charged for attendees to use on-site at the event.

When creating a product display, coordinate with your team to:

  • Develop a floor plan that clearly outlines the placement for each display
  • Create a spreadsheet to house all items on display and what furniture or supplies you will need to properly showcase all items
  • Pre-plan for additional items you may need to enhance the overall visual aspect of each display
  • Coordinate with vendors early on for a seamless schedule of shipment and delivery
