Our story...

It's really amazing looking back at the last 20+ years. The industry has changed so much, but yet has remained the same in many ways...

"With a degree in Psychology and Social Welfare, one would think I would have taken a different path. As the stars would have it, I was destined for something very different. A dancer and singer, I always found myself drawn to the entertainment and hospitality business. So, after a few different stints including Public Relations and Restaurant Service (every young adult should work as server in a restaurant - it builds character and patience), I landed a job at the Sheraton New Orleans, joined a planning committee for the New Orleans World’s Fair and as they say “The Rest was History”.

Five Hotels, several promotions, a move to Florida, a daughter and 11 years later…I knew what I wanted to do. I wanted to do events - healthcare, automotive and incentive. At the time, telecom and software companies were a bleep on the event screen; we were registering 3500 attendees by hand via fax!

Twenty years later, lots of software registration options, an in-depth internship program, 2 children and a talented team of professionals - we find ourselves, still entrenched in healthcare but expanded into government, software, association management and the emerging Eco-Vent industry. And by the way, did I mention, we acquired an Interactive Dance Company La Mystique, I guess life does come full circle. It’s not just any event…it’s a Paragon Event."
